The project will be starting near Hwy 14 with two “box culvert” matters. This may take up to 2 months. Starting on June 16, Highway 140 will be “soft closed” (local traffic only, no semi traffic) from just North of I-43 to Avalon Rd. From Avalon Rd to Hwy 14, Highway 140 will be “hard closed” to all vehicle traffic to complete the “box culvert" work. Once the “box culvert” work is completed, Highway 140 will be “hard closed” to all traffic, North of the I-43 entrance / exit ramps to Highway 14. The area surrounding the I-43 entrance / exit ramps will be “milled & resurfaced”, however will remain open during the project with flaggers when necessary.
